Just got the word from my fiance that she finished her interview at the embassy and our visa petition is approved!

Time for me to clean the man-cave... :rofl:

Mar 2011 - After 5mths denied for lost docs - Attempts to follow up failed. Mar 18 2012 - I-129F sent - No sign of NOA1 but they have banked the check...Jul 24 - Update - USCIS has located our file
Infopass Apt - they sorted through everything - our 2011 and 2012 file keep getting mixed up - getting us a Case# (still waiting) Dec- Infopass Appt- expecting to get a case # in about a week ..Still no Case number
Mar 2013 Infopass - advised file was in a box somewhere,and it would be quicker for us to refile. Life gets in the way... New petition submitted July 2014 .

WOO HOO!!! Congrats!! I hear ya on the cleaning the man cave! I actually have a roommate that is waiting to get the boot at any moment! :rofl:

Hey, she say how long she was there and what they asked her?

She was there at 0630 for her 0730 appointment, but she didn't actually meet with the CO until 1110.

She was fully prepared with tons of evidence, clearly marked in a bunch of tabbed folders with clear covers so that the CO could easily see when asked.

What did the CO ask to see from her as evidence? NOTHING!! ZIP.. ZILCH.. NADA!! :rofl: I think that she never even took any of it out of the binder on the floor.

Instead, he just looked at a couple of the pix that I'd included with the I-129F, looked at her mandated forms and passport and told her that she was approved. (I'm not sure if he even asked her any questions at all! I'll let you know after I chat with her tonight.)

After all of her painstaking effort to put together the "perfect package" for evidence, it wasn't necessary at all.
