We received our NOA2 last May 14. We are on our 5th week going on 6 but whenever we call NVC, they're saying our case is not on their system yet. Should we be worried? Or is this normal? Thank you in advance for all your help!

And you know that you love them so much except sometimes they just drive you completely insane and no one can explain it and the reason its so confusing is because its love. But if love didnÂ’t have any challenges, what would be the point?"

Thank you for your response. We did email both NVCinquiry and NVCresearch and got the same reply that they dont have it in the system and that they would initiate the request again in USCIS. We just feel a little helpless since whenever we call USCIS, they would say it has been sent, and then NVC says they dont have it yet. It's gotta to be somewhere. We're worried it got lost or something. :S

Thanks for sharing. I did read about some couples getting case numbers after 2 weeks, some even less than that. But I also heard about couples whose case are under "administrative processing" and took longer than usual. Right now, I'm not really concerned about whether our case will go to admin processing, we just want to know where it is physically you know? I guess some people are right when they said that the hard part about this whole process is the WAITING. :|

Call your USCIS service center and tell them that NVC didn't recieve your packet..God Bless and Good Luck..Be more and more patience.

Thank you for the support. We did call USCIS and they said it was already sent to the NVC, which tells us they don't have it as well. We're hoping we hear from them next week. Thanks again for the well wishes,

Argh tell me about it. The wait is very stressful. I just hope it's not lost somewhere. Frankly, I have been reading about cases sent to the wrong agency and that scares me. Keeping my fingers crossed that we get a case number soon. Good luck to you as well and thanks for responding to the post.

We received as well our NOA2 on May 14. until now, we do not know where and what happened to our papers. We also did everything and heard he same words from both department. When we called the USCIS,the CSR said that we should wait for three months before the NVC receive our case. however, a week before, the thing that was said was 2 months. We don't know what's right and wrong. Even our emails to NVCinquiry and NVCresearch, there's still no words from them. I'm just praying that one day, we will be surprised that we already have a case number.

God bless Us.
