Problem with the Yellow Package BIG ONE

Hello my VJ family. I'm super sad, feeling like crying for this new problem we have. I went to the embassy this afternoon to get the Visa, they also gave me the packahe but it was already open, (see picture attached) I told the girl at the embassy that I knew the envelope had to be seal, I could actually see the papers inside, she smiled and she said that's the way had to be. I told her I could see the papers inside, and she said: yes that is correct :blink::blink: . So as soon as I could I called my fiance and he called USCIS and they told him that if I got that paper to the officer when I get the airport in US, they will send me back.:angry:

Plus the stamp did not match like they put the stamp (see the picture attacked) like they put the stamp on and then they sealed the package... I don't understand why all this

So What can I do, people at the embassy says everything is fine and people from USCIS said they will reject the envelope INMEDIATELY at the airport :crying::crying::crying::crying:

Help me please we don't know what to do :help: I can't believe after all this BIG effort this can be ruined at the end!!!

In some countries they are fussy about letting you carry on something you didn't "pack" yourself. They do the cut so that they can see that nothing but paper is in the envelope. You will be fine

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Moved from IR-1/CR-1 Process & Procedures to General Immigration-Related Discussion; topic is relevant to more than just one visa type. Additionally, OP went through the fiance(e) visa process and not the spousal visa process.

**Organizer hat off**

The cut corner on the envelope is normal, CBP (the agency you will be dealing with on arrival, not USCIS) is aware that this is commonly done. You will not have issues where this is concerned.

I don't know how to move this Topic to IR-1/CR-1 Process & Procedures to General Immigration-Related Discussion
