Who's who? Is my wife the applicant or the petitioner?

Since yer wife is a USCitzen - that makes her the petitioner. The one that's left in a married couple (IE - YOU) - is the applicant - typically it's the foreign spouse, the non-USCitizen, that becomes the applicant for a USA Immigrant Visa. That'd be you. You need to remember that, as forms are filled out - as 'voice' is important - ie

it's her VOICE on the I-864 and

it's YOUR VOICE on the DS-230.

I Got email from NVC... And got AOS and Iv Invoiced... I think I got lucky... ... and is says payment is in Progress... After it shows paid can I send the AOS and IV packet?

both invoiced at the same time? COOL! was a G-28 submitted with the I-130 ? 'SAME DAY BILLING' is a feature of filing a G-28 with the I-130 submittal, FWIW.

I got a busy signal the first time I called today, just redial. I got it on Favorites list of iPhone. lol

iPhones are not cool. But, since it's what you have, and what you use, yer stuck with it.

When you send the DS-3032 via email did you guys attached it to the email? or copy & paste on the msg box?

most used form DATA, putting ASCII into the message body.

With yer question though, I sense yer not reading.

Go back to Post #1, find the DS-3032 email link, CLICK IT, and read all.

That's the case complete EMAIL. I am worried for you, though, as the casefiles are not joined up. Is a really good chance that there will be 2 interview dates, one for yer wife, one for her child.

If that's the case, GUZ IV can fix that. If you learn how to email them

Has anyone tried to access the payment portal site in the last hour or so? My husband and I are both getting a "Database Error" (not "Sign in fail") and are wondering if anyone else is having the same problem.

I can't quite believe it. I think I just got case closed. Got an email from a supervisor in response to my email from last week and was told:

"The NVC has completed it's processing of xxxxx's visa petition. The petition is waiting for an appointment to be scheduled at the US consulat/embassy in Sydney."

Is this really case closed???

It's better than 'case closed'.

It means, really, 'final review complete' and 'casefile lobbed into the interview scheduling queue'

Called two times, the operators didn't connect me to supervisor, instead they told me "the two cases are linked each other". I am really worried on this.

You can use a separate piece of paper. Just indicate which number you're answering.

Yes, a blank piece of paper. It says so on the DS-230 instructions on the topmost part of the form: "If there is insufficient room on the form, answer on a separate sheet using the same numbers that appear on the form."

So it seems like the NVC has been getting our cases from the CSC about 3 weeks after the noa2. Then another week or 2 until the case number is assigned. Does this seem accurate?

I've attached a link to Saylin's DS-230 supplemental sheet for her visits to the U.S. Use it as a guide for adding your previous employment, replace the point number (35) with the appropriate number for the information you are adding. Use everything else you see (Header with Petitioner & Beneficiary D.O.B., case number, etc.) on the page.

"Separate sheet" could mean "blank form" to me.

I plead temporary insanity.

Just to show how crazy I feel right now, I will ask this: I'm supposed to click "No" on all the questions on Line 40 and forward, correct? I mean, I have never committed any crimes, have no communicable diseases, am not a commie nazi etc...
