Nothing in my mail again today. Maybe tomorrow :)

Me neither.....just out of boredom, I called the USCIS No-help-line, as my original 30 days in the line had passed....

And....They really live up to their name.....The woman seemes to be reading straight from the website, couldn't tell me anything new...and ended the call with "If we can help in any way, please don't hesitate to call us." HAHHHH !!!!:angry:

Old and Grumpy....But an American Citizen!!!

It's unanimous. Waiting STINKS. I've been waiting on lost freight at work too - to add to my ire. Just got a phone call saying they couldn't reach me. DUH I've been calling them - Friday and today, nobody returned my call (on the freight).... with a bit of luck I'll have it tonight. On my only day OFF. Better late than never, right?

MamaSue did you see my earlier comment about the person that filed 9/22 and got IL today? That just rubs a bit of salt in the wound, doesn't it? Good for them... lousy for us.

The good news : You interview will push your pending I-751 to be approved (if all is ok sure)

The bad news: Even though you will pass the interview and all, but they will NOT schedule you for oath untill you receive your GC because it has to be given away at the cermony.

It might be a little bit of a delay, but no risk/worries at all, its just a process.

Good luck in your coming interview.

12-23-2013 - Entered in system

01-07-2014 - DS-261 completed online

01-08-2014 - AOS paid

01-16-2014 - Expedite service requested

01-19-2014 - Paid IV bill

01-23-2014 - NVC requested phone number for applicant to complete expedite request

01-23-2014 - IV paid

01-30-2014 - Expedite request approved (awaiting email instructions)

02-03-2014 - Expedite approval received in the mail

Ok...I am freaking out now. :ot:

I am waiting for the oath letter( the IO said it will take maybe up to 60 days after the interview..which would be mid December). If that is the case...and I have to give them my GC at the oath, and it takes 3 weeks to get a passport (expedite service) would I be able to travel out of country with the passport from my country of birth? I will be gone for over one month, which means that my US passport will be sent to me while I am a :help: way...if someone ships it to me with fast courier from US to where I am out of the country, will I be ok to get back in the US? :(

Probably my letter is home but since I am in school I have not received the mail I can't wait to see that letter.
