It's ok. This is perfectly AOK. I mean after all, that child might have a bomb implanted in her. You just never know.

As a matter of fact, they should have sent her through the x-ray machine, squeezed her bum, and probed her. Just to be safe.

I mean after all, don't you remember 9/11? Don't you want to be safe!!!!! How can you be so mean and not want to be Safe!!!! Probe all children! Inspect all breasts! Inspect all cavities! We must be safe!!!! 9/11 must not happen again!!!!

We love the TSA, they are our friends!!!! They Protect us from EVIL!!!!!!

this is a +1 to bin laden's goal and a major humiliation to our system. im sure the real terrorist are giggling at a system we created to strangulate ourselves.

01/26/12 - NOA1 received and processing at Vermont.

06/28/12 - NOA2 announced on status check.

06/29/12 - NVC received case learned on 07/2/12.

this is a +1 to bin laden's goal and a major humiliation to our system. im sure the real terrorist are giggling at a system we created to strangulate ourselves.

Has it been worth it going to such extreme measures to prevent further airline related tragedies? In the short run I would argue that all they really needed to do was improve cockpit security and do some lower profile screening for bombs and guns. But if it can break the pattern and put an end to the tactic of terrorism directed toward civilian populations it would be worth it. My guess is that it will not do that. Terrorism as a tactic of assymetric warfare has been around a long time and will probably never be eliminated. In the meantime, bin-Laden has scored a limited victory in creating enough 'terror' to induce this costly over-reaction.

This is not +1 to laden, but just shows how bad this agency is ran, no accountability, no concept of complaints or addressing complaints its just one of the worst agency I have ever seen.

I fly atleast twice every week, and I see TSA agents chatting on the phone, chatting with one another just like they are working in fastfood place.

If you sit at airport and observe them for 10 mins you can see how a CIA or Secret Service agents are alert watching the ppl, ppl's movment etc.

When you compare these guys half of them are above retirement age, half of them are so unfit, I doubt even if they can run after someone.

Its like if you cannot find a job at fastfood place we will hire you pay you more and bonus you will be unioun employe.

Do we need TSA... most likly yes there needs to be some kinda screening..... it is just when they work like robots rather than intellegient agency it is not effective anymore.

If they would use a little common sense and hire better employes... address the public complaints be responsive of public input that they surely would do a better job.

Right now its like they completely live in different world.... they installed these x-ray machines at the airport, never put a single thought how its going to hamper public movement nothing. At some airports on bad day its like 40 mins to go thru security check point.

TSA's expectation is ppl should show up 2 hrs before their flight.... comon that is stupid, just coz they cannot work effectively they want ppl to show up 2 hrs ahead of time.

This incident and couple other that happen in last few months where ppl who should had been stopped at checkpoint were not stopped and later TSA could not locate them and had to evacute the whole terminal..... clearly shows how bad the agency is.
