Hi - I have *another* quick question..

On the guidelines here for sending the I-129F it says:

You should mail the completed form(s) to the USCIS Dallas Lockbox. Mail the package with return receipt requested / delivery confirmation. Send via USPS.

On the link to the USCIS site, there are different addresses for USPS and express mail/courier deliveries. Is there a big difference between how quickly packages are received between the express mail and USPS? Why does it say on here to send via USPS?

US Postal Service, delivery confirmation is fine. You do no tneed a return receipt, you can check delivery online. Do not pay extra to get it there overnight, this is a 5-6 month process, 2-3 days will not matter

Don't know if there is any BIG difference in delivery times. Obviously it is most important that the package gets there in a timely manner. Secondary consideration should be given to the cost of whatever delivery scheme you utilize. There is little need in having it delivered overnight. Since once it is received ( I-797c - NOA1 date), then the 4-6 month wait for petition approval begins.

I was quite satisfied with the delivery service I received from the USPS.

YMMV

I mailed mine this morning using priority mail with delivery confirmation! Due to the amount of paperwork I was sending.

I used Priority as well. It is MUCH CHEAPER than using any express service. I used delivery confirmation, sent it to the Dallas lock box per instructions, and it arrived in 3 days from the east coast. No need to pay all that extra for express.
