So here is my question....Does anyone know whether the adjustment of status may be denied if the spouse of the DV lottery winner worked in the U.S. for a brief period of time without the proper authorization in the past? Would they maybe consider the following factors - (we've established a life in the U.S. for over a decade, married in U.S., advanced degrees obtained in U.S., house, kids, job, no legal issues or criminal activity, was always in status, never applied for or received govm't assistance). What's the worst case scenario?

I don't understand... You are in the US and have been there for over a decade, never out of status... So what status do you have? Haven't you qualified for a GC already?

I'm not sure what visa did your wife got and worked without the proper authorization... In the documents you're required to refill, there is a question about unlawful presence in the US, but I'm not sure if it applies to her, since you didn't mention what visa she had.

She should get an e-mail with the request to check her status again. All the info (plus an invitation to the interview) should be there.

I know some people with numbers above 5,700 already know dates of their interviews in November.

Have you gained other immigrant benefits since your work? What is your current status ?

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Wow already? Isn't that moving too quick? I haven't received any emails of updates, I just kept checking the winning page.
