Have a question. Does the GC lottery winner need Affidavit of Support Form from the sponsor? If yes , which one I-864 or I-134? And

except the civil documents are there any other documents or forms needed?

Hi maika tereza...The GC lottery winner don't need Affidavit of Support from the sponsor...Actually the DV winners they do not need sponsor from USA or any country But but they have to get the address for receive the GC. "The DV winner is self petitioner"...In my experience my region is Africa and they do not request the Affidavit of Support...Good Luck

I am so excited!! My auntie and her family won the DV Lottery!! I couldn't believe it when I saw that she was selected for further processing! It's unreal! So, do I need to wait and hear from the Kentucky center or should I go ahead and fill out the forms (send them to her to fill out) and send them in?

When it comes to an affidavit of support it MAY be a requirement. Some places never ask others may ask. You need to know the habits of the consulate you are going through. They ask more often when the winner does not have the education for a highly paid job. If your consulate wants one they will use the I 134 .

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

Hi all, I do have a question about what it sayd on the page where it tells you that you've won, why does it say that there were more participants than visas and that a visa is not guaranteed? Just curious .

Well I put my address when I registered them for the DV Lottery because I was afraid if they send them paperwork (winning letter) that it might be lost or stolen from their mailbox. Is that okay?

They pull extras because they know some people will change their minds about going with the state of the economy and others that win really aren't quailified. Your number allows you to estimate when you will interview. The earlier the better.

to count for people who will not meet the requirements or decide not to pursue applying to cannot afford it! what's the number by any chance?

I am not sure about the address on the application online itself. but when my cousin filled out the form I had him use my address here in the US, so any new communication with KY will come through me I then can either fax to scan and send him the letters..
