Why are we doing this IR-1/CR-1?

HELLO PEOPLE :) I WAS WONDERING WHY MOST OF US HAVE FOUND THE LOVE OF OUR LIFE IN OUR NATIVE COUNTRY? WHY WE WERE NOT ABLE TO FIND IT IN THE US? :lol::no:

Finally we all three together. We are happy :)

I am a foreigner and I married a USC whose family was in the US for many generations. people just find who they want to marry.

also since ur on a forum dedicated to international marriages obviously you are going to find people who marry internationally.

2006 - Entered US on F-1
2009 - COS to H-1
2011 - Married USC

Conditional GC Process:
04/2012 - Concurrent I-130 petition / I-485 AOS / I-765 EAD / I-131 AP sent
35 days to biometrics, 73 days to EAD/AP combo card, 85 days to interview, 96 days to Conditional Green Card

04/2014 - Eligible for ROC

06/2014 - I-751 package filing joint with spouse sent

5 days to extension,37 days to biometrics, 172 days to CSC transfer, 247 days to Green Card

04/2015 - Eligible for Citizenship

09/2015 - N-400 package filing on basis of USC spouse sent

29 days to biometrics, 105 days to interview, 147 days to oath and US citizenship

~ 9 years and 6 months from first entry to US citizenship

some people specifically look outside of the US lol.. they are not satisfied with "american made" products ahah.. no. just kidding, but i wonder if anyone has ever married someone out of country, then divorced and then finally married an american..?

:unsure: I found mine not from my native country.I love America :thumbs: It's my country but never found someone here for me.I was raised with very strict Sicilian father and my mother from napoli.Because your born in a country doesn't mean the love of your life is there :lol: he or she can be on the other side of the world :thumbs: That's when the Journey begins

Yeah I know there are people who are from Spain and are USC and found their wife/husband in Italy! The point here I am trying to make is why we did not find it here in the US even from the same country :devil:

Lol or maybe no social life here, just work and work and on a vacation we meet our love or facebook gets involved!!! lol

Each persons case will be different but for me I have to spend this stage of my life with someone from my culture/tribe, same language, core values, etc, besides, have you seen Yoruba Women? Hawtness (F)

To get to your question, yes as such is available here but Nigeria is such a hard place to get a visa from that most ladies, the traditional ones that I am ONLY interested in, from my tribe that are already here are mostly married, or have lived here for donkey years already so they have lost that traditionalism that I crave, etc.

PS: I was married for 13 years or so to a USC (British originally) and we have 4 kids. So been there, done that, have the divorce decree :whistle:
