Event Description

Embassy Review : My appointment was at 9:20 this morning, we, of course arrived earlier (ah whole hour to be exact). we checked in at the window, they asked for my passport and my husbands ID. We sat down to wait there there were maybe 10 more people all together. one couple was older then us and the woman and her daughter were from some Asian country, then there was another couple - same thing. they were called in first and were separated, as was the other couple. about 20 minutes before my scheduled time my husband and i were both called in together. the lady that called us seemed kinda scary at first because i overheard her talking to a man from, what looked like, Tibet and she didn't sound nice at all.
Anyways, we went into her office, didn't get separated, she swore us in and started asking us simple basic questions like:"how did you start dating? when did you start living together, how's living with in-laws working out?", nothing out of the ordinary. both my husband and i expected waaaaaay worse. she was very nice and very friendly and she just carried on a regular conversation with us. then she took my passport and took the I-94 out of it and said that i won't be needing it anymore. then she printed out a piece of paper saying that she recommended me for approval and my card will come in 2-6 weeks. also told me not to forget to remove conditions. and that's that!
Harassment Level : Very Good

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
