:bonk:

:bonk: Very ignorant. What I got out of the questions is that is how you view us Americans. If you feel that way why even come to our country? You should have put honest questions, not sarcastic ones. Apparently you must like the U.S. or why would you want to come to our country since you think we have a superialistic attitude. Figures. :ot2:

Being American myself I didn't take offense at the questions dwheels posed...I felt she was stating sarcastically how the CO's come up with their stupid questions...and by the way dwheels is American.

5. You know us Americans are hard headed think we the best people on earth you know?

6. Can you live with such superior beings?

This is very true about many Americans, especially when compared to many humble ones in 3-World Countries. RickJovi, I don't see what the problem is with Dwheels' comment at all. Of course, not all Americans are haughty, arrogant and presumptuous; just like not all Nigerians are Narcissistic Extortioners (but many are).

Dear I am the American and do you want to know honestly, each one of these question at one time or another have been asked. Like I said in an earlier post look at your embassies reviews the good reviews will list questions ask. Some interviews got so personal some didn't even want to post it.

Sorry you got offended. Many questions asked isn't as much for the answer as it is to get a reaction.

And name calling is never cool. This process is stressful enough. To get someone to laugh out loud I see no harm or foul. Good grief. :(

Okay now that I have woke up and drinking my coffee I want to address some things. First You aren't interviewing at any High Fraud country so you have no idea what scrutiny we are under and really these questions are very valid but in full disclosure.

4. Then why do you want to move half way across the world to be with them? Valid question to weed out "for immigration purposes"<br style="color: rgb(28, 40, 55); font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px; background-color: rgb(250, 251, 253); ">5. You know us Americans are hard headed think we the best people on earth you know? The CO was trying to calm down a very nervous beneficiary. When my friends eyes he said about jumped out his head at the question The CO laughed said he just wanted to relax him with humor. <br style="color: rgb(28, 40, 55); font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px; background-color: rgb(250, 251, 253); ">6. Can you live with such superior beings? And this too<br style="color: rgb(28, 40, 55); font-size: 13px; line-height: 19px; background-color: rgb(250, 251, 253); ">

What exactly are Immigration Attorneys good for, anyway?

Advising you as to what forms are correct for you to fill out, giving you an explenation of what to expect, and how to fill out the forms. A good attorney can also aid you in difficult and complicated cases. That's pretty much it. No attorney can guarantee a visa, no attorney can speed up the process and no attorney has "special contacts" with the USCIS or consulate. If an attorney claims to guarantee a result, claims to speed up the process, or claims to have "special contacts" in DHS or DOS, stay away.

Sorry. My apologies. I took it as the immigrant saying those things, that is why I didn't like it. Now that I have been correctly informed by you, I should just sit back and laugh with you. Take care. No harm intended.

And my apologies you are dealing with a high fraud so maybe you do know. RickJovi we must laugh and find humor where we can or we will all go mad. No harm no foul. rose.gifrose.gifbiggrin.gif

How am I dealing with a high fraud. I don't have any problems with the U.S. Embassy at Manila and as long as you have all of your docmentation together, proof of your genuine relationship and meet the income requirements, I don't see many denials. Only the suspect ones and the ones where the petitioner doesn't meet the income requirements.

Oh I thought Phillipines is one of the High Fraud countries.unsure.gif And yes you would think if everything is in order. But red flags or no red flags. Nigeria is in their own category. More denials than not but what can you do. All you can do is fight fight fight.
