Just got a test and email form USCIS, and checked case status on line. Finally!

"On March 8, 2013, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you. If you move before you receive the card, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283."

I'm so excited! Best wishes and good luck to all those who're still waiting. I'll update as soon as we received the green card.

Where are all the other May filers? I get the picture that a lot of people abandoned the thread...

We are still gathering documents to respond to the RFE. Hopefully we will send in the packet this week. I believe the mistake we made with the I-751 packet was...we sent in documents from the time we arrived home until now, instead of from the time we married until now. Congrats to all that have been approved and Good Luck to all that are still waiting.

Belated congrats engineer21 !!

I checked unapproved members' profiles and found 2 approvals from VSC

We just received an email today that our green card has gone into production. We filed back in May of 2012 and we had an RFE dated January 2013. Hopefully yours will be in production soon. I know it can be really frustrating, but hang in there.

Hey Guys

I know I am new to posting in this forum, I have been following for a while now. And just wondering, when you update info on members, and when you update the Approve status, is that the date that the actual approval letter came in? or when you got the online card production email? Cuz from what I read, i think its both? because I see after the email it takes 1-2 weeks to receive the card. But does anyone have any idea how long I wait for the card after i receive the actual approval case letter from USCIS? I am in Vermont processing since I am from NYC, USCIS received my applications May 18, 2012 and I received the approval letter January 26th 2013, "congratulations your application to adjust status has been approved, you should receive your card shortly. If you do not recieve your card within 60days please contact.... etc" Well I called a few days ago but they told me it hasent been a full 60 days and to call back monday. So i am planning to do that , just wondering what are your thoughts about this situation based on any of your experience.

I'm very confused: I'm still on "Initial Review" when I check my case status at USCIS, and it hasn't been touched since June 2012. Yet I received an RFE and sent it two months ago.

What should I do?
