Noth,

Did you receive any notification either by email or by telephone when your status changed? I checked today and the USCIS website still says "Initial Review"

I guess we will up in the next round in a couple of day seeing how people are now getting approved.

so what happened with me: on Friday i received both emails and texts saying that my card was ordered for production, that's when i put my first update. Then, on Saturday morning i had the approval letter waiting for me in the mail. then this morning i received another set of email/texts, saying that my card was sent on 11/26.

i hope the process goes as smoothly for you as well!

So i just called USCIS and they told me they are still processing cases received on April 18th, i said this is the same status since few weeks. I was told that this status gets updated every month and last time it was updated on Nov 9th and the next month's status will be updated on Dec 10th. If by Dec 10th, I wont get any update then i can call and request for service request. Lets see.

Can someone please correct and update my timelines....

And for those who are still waiting and have travel needs, fyi: my husband and I just returned from England, and he was able to re-enter the country with his expired GC and NOA letter. So I hope that puts some minds at ease. x

CSC processing speed has dropped by 50% since July. Look at the data: http://dashboard.uscis.gov/index.cfm?formtype=15&office=2&charttype=1

Pull up the same chart for VSC and you will see that they have not dropped their completion rates.

No wonder VSC is catching up with CSC.

Yeah CSC is moving super slow, most of May filers should have been approved by now.

Great... That was really depressing. I really need to move at the end of January, and now I might not even have it by then according to these trends..? fantastic.

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news. Deferred action for childhood arrivals began in August and so you can see a sharp drop in I751 processing volumes as soon as that program began. I think they view ROCs as one of the lowest priority applications because our status is extended upon application. This is all well and good but the I really wish they would issue a temporary green card for the year instead of the rambling flimsy extension letter or the dinky I-551 stamp.

That way we wouldn't have to argue with airlines, foreign consulates and foreign border agents that yes, we are indeed US LPRs!

I don't count on this agency caring much about our problems though.

I received the card today! The protective sleeve on the new one is just paper and doesn't have the foil-ish interior of the first one.

I'm not sure why anyone would try to "hack" a PR card but does that really happen? lol
