Luz and I have made a decision. Due to things that I would rather not get into we have decided to stop trying for her visa. I am going to give up my job and move there. Luz is starting right now to find me work there. I thank you all for your support and friendship. This will be the last day I will be on VJ. Good luck to you all.

Just because you're done with the visa process doesn't mean you have to be done with VJ! Pop in on occasion and let us know how you guys are doing :)

02/23/08 - Filed for removal of conditions.

Sometime in 2008 - Received 10 year GC. Almost done with USCIS for life inshaAllah! Huzzah!

12/07/08 - Adopted the fuzzy feline love of my life, my Squeaky baby th_catcrazy.gif

02/23/09 - Apply for citizenship

06/15/09 - Citizenship interview

07/15/09 - Citizenship ceremony. Alhamdulilah, the US now has another american muslim!

WOW, So close but yet so far. Kind of unbelievable that you will not be posting anymore... I wish I was in a position to move to my fiancee's home country.... Good luck!!

NOOOOO Gary, don't leave us.

We are really going to miss you here at VJ. You were a great help on this site. Now we won't have someone create the weekly list of all the timelines. I was really looking forward to seeing my NOA2 date posted on your timeline someday soon.

Either way, I really hope you the best with Luz. Best of luck, and yeah log in every once in a while and let us know how you guys are doing.

WOW! Maybe you can stop by the S.E. Asia forum now and again. I would love to hear what kind of job you end up with. This has always been something Sheryl and I have talked about as a possibility if things didn't go our way in the visa process. Good to you and you new family. God Bless.
