What do you guys think the estimated time is to get a Visa from the German Embassy in Frankfurt.Going through Nebraska (or CA if transfered). How long do u thinkl we'd have to wait? We'll put the I 129 F in by January 15th.Lets just say we dont get any RFE's........

Some people are beginning to report NOA2's from CSC at about the 60ish days time frame though many have timelines greater than that.....5 - 15 days at NVC is possible.... I will step aside for any comment on Frankfurt

YMMV

I don't know how long it will take for you.

we filed our petition at the end of march this year and I am still stuck in germany, I have my interview in frankfurt on the 17 this month. you can see my timeline in my signature below.

to me it just takes forever. I have lost all hope long time ago that this process can speed up at some point. I never thought it would take this long when we filed the petition and when I quit my job in germany in june this year hoping i would make it to the US in time to start a new job there that i had safe already until august. now I have lost the new job in the US as well because I could not make it to the US in time. It is not exactly a good feeling beeing stuck without a job waiting for the visa to finally go to the US and to go on with live.

to make it short: if you are making any plans around your immigration, always expect it to take forever or you might end up like me (highly frustrated and not getting much sleep at night because of worrying so much). Don't count on it to be fast.

sorry for being such a winer today but germans like to complain (just kidding), good luck for you.
