Need opinions for this subject . I will be doing the I 29-F soon and yesterday I received my Fiance G 325a form and her Full Name consists of 19 letters of the alphabet ....now when she signed where it say Signature , her signature takes up the space of about 1 1/2 letters of the alphabet and I cannot tell what letter(s) it could be . It looks more like she was trying to clear the ball of the ballpoint pen to get it to write . I am concerned if the Government will accept this style of signature ...I look forward to all opinions ...Thanks ...Terry PS ...She lives in the Philippines so she uses the English Language .

As long as the signiture is consistant across documents, no problem. You would not want to sign a document different than a passport for example. Do not change your signiture, it is what it is.

PS, you should see the signiture of the Judge in my court documents from divorce, looks like a hump.

My husband signed all his forms with literally a squiggly line. Not once was it questioned. Couldn't read it as a name or any kind of visible word at all.

OK thanks everyone !! I know that in America some people that cannot read or write used to sign with an " X " but I guess I am just squeamish about this Visa thing ....Thanks Again ....Terry

Yes, I was worried about USCIS accepting my husband's signature too. He uses a mix of letters and Japanese kanji. He has always used that as his legal signature. He has used it on everything for immigration and everything needed to be signed here in the US too. No problem. A signature does not have to be an exact replica of your actual name, unless the document specifically specifies that is does.

My husband does the same thing, when I him doing that I asked and he feels it is harder to forge than what us Americans do of neatly writing our name.

 Exactly what my husband told me.
