Actually, we did receive the acceptance email a couple of days ago  ..I guess I was so tired I forgot :innocent::whistle:

laughing.gif Too late for you to ask questions :P So, you're with everyone else that was waiting for NVC to implement the lower fees.

hello,

if i EMAIl the DS 3032 to NVC then i don't have to sign on it, right? (ok, sorry it sounds stupid..but i had to ask, really) cuz it will be like other reguler email.

MAIL will take time for me  so if anyone can say "yes" abt this to me...i wont think too much of it :P thanks ...

there are more and more question coming.... :bonk:

Well, you're not emailing the DS-3032, you're just putting the same data from the form into an email. So, it's kinda hard to sign an email :P Read the template again that I linked to. There's no printing, signing, or scanning involved for you. Just typing up an email and hitting 'send'.

And keep the questions coming yes.gif

Hi all!

I received a checklist yesterday for a police clearance from Canada for my husband. We didn't include it because, as per NVC's instructions, he does not need a PCC from a country he has lived in for less than one year. He was in Canada for seven months, traveling.

Has this happened to anyone else? I know I need to call the NVC, but now it's the weekend, and I'll have to wait until Monday. I'll be fretting about this for two days now - can anyone put my mind at ease?

Many thanks!

With NVC, the squeaky wheel gets the grease, be as squeaky as possible.

Call them Monday, and remind them of the policy. Also send a written explanation with the barcode sheet they sent in the checklist email.

That way, if you get a fool on the phone, the person getting the letter will hopefully fix it.

Keep calling everyday and tell them of their own policy (NVC is run by private contractors, so they don't really know 'their own policies') Call until you get someone who knows what their talking about and will listen.

After your written letter arrives, call until they say 'Yes, we received your information and your IV packet has been accepted'

Ugh, silly NVC headbonk.gif

Call back up Monday and ask to speak to a supervisor. Explain their policy on NVC's site that a PCC is only required of a different country of residence if it was more than 12 months.

You can also mail in a letter with the following:

-IV bar-coded cover sheet

-cover letter explaining your situation and the checklist you got

-printout of NVC's site about PCCs (http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3195.html#police )

that's why i asked  i thought "how cud i sign an email" :bonk: now i got it n saved the template already  trima kasih= thank u

You're welcome ^_^

I was at work :P

My littlest little had his Cub Scout Pinewood Derby race today. (he's six) He was eliminated in the third round, but it was a big deal to get to the district races!

I was so very proud of him. He designed, painted and built his car himself. All his dad did was cut the block of wood and use the hot glue gun for the weights.

The Car -->

http://i1056.photobucket.com/albums/t373/csheeshka/533117_742458500464_41305801_34860763_1919753754_n.jpg

When his friend and fellow scout in his pack lost his race, the poor little boy started to cry, my son comforted him. Every time he won, he was very humble and shook his competitor's hand. When he lost he picked up his car and said "Mom, that was SO much FUN! Now I can take my car home and finally play with it!" (they impound the cars after every race level so modifications can not be made to it) His dad and I must be doing something right.

Then I came home and had to deal with an injured, diva dog to take his medicine and NOT chase the cat! Skyped with Mr. Sheeshka for a little while, then cleaned the house :)

Well, the employment letter is stating the CURRENT annual income, not previous years from tax returns, so it's fine.

Also, on the I-864EZ, question # 18 - My Individual annual income is currently: $______

Do I put what is on my W-2 or what is on my tax transcript?

Again, it's CURRENT annual income, not previous years. Put your CURRENT income. Should be the exact same amount as stated in the employment letter.

neither.

CURRENT = estimation of what you will earn, all of 2012. Not TY2011,TY2010,TY2009, nothing historical.

So, it's all of 2012, not just stopping at what was accumulated as of this morning (hence the estimation).

Good Luck !
