So I got the text lastnight that our petition has been approved... Was so anxious lastnight I slept like 3 1/2 hours

So what's next????

Congrats. Now, gather all the evidence and read the reviews of your embassy. Make sure that you cover all possible "red flags" so the visa approval comes without any issues.

Salam ,first of all i will say Congratulation !!! i am so happy for you both after long wait its worthy.Now your case will go To Nvc then you will get New Case Number ,then it will sent to Us consulkat in CasaBlanca then your Hubby will have Interview MAy Probaly ,I wish him and you Good Luck and Inshaa Allah he will get Visa i can feel cos i think its his secodn Interview which means it will go smoothly inshaa Allah inshaa Allah soon you will Live together ,I'll pray for you Both :):thumbs:

NOA 2- Dated April 27 2010 (85days after NOA1)

Interview-October 2010- outcome AP

Interview-July 2011-outcome-Recommendation for revocation

March 2012- Petition received by a USCIS office

May 11 2012- Petiton sent to another USCIS office for processing

May 15 2012- Petition is now being processed at a USCIS office

May 17 2012- letter rec'd from CSC Petition officially closed

Oct 26, 2011- Sent 1-130 Oct 27, 2011- NOA1 priority date

July 2012- NOID I-130 petition

July 16, 2012 e-mail notification for NOA2

NVC Process

July 23, 2012- nvc received

Aug 13,2012- called nvc to receive case# and IIN

Aug 14,2012- DS-3032 Email sent

Aug 15,2012- AOS Fee $88 invoiced, paid and in process

Aug 16,2012- AOS shows as paid

Aug 17,2012- I-864 overnighted to NVC

Aug 24,2012- DS-3032 acceptance received

Aug 24,2012- DS-230 invoiced/paid

Sept 4,2012- DS-230 overnighted to NVC (forgot to date page 2 waoo???, can't stop beating myself now, pls no RFE)

Sept 5,2012- DS-230 received by NVC; Oct 4- date received via email for scheduled interview

Sept 14, 2012-checklist requested for docs already submitted

Sept 20,2012- Case complete at NVC

National Visa Center will contact you to proceed with the next steps:

Your husband will be asked to appoint someone in the states to act on his behalf for the paperwork, ideally he appoints you. Once appointed they will ask for payment of AOS, then payment of visa with all supporting documents for him translated to English.

Once they get all the documents and payment they forward the packet to the consulate and request an interview date. It took about two months for the entire process and another 45 days for the visa interview date in our case for example we received NOA2 on 15 Feb and we got a visa date of 26 May 2011.

All the paperwork you do with NVC he will be required to have for the interview to include any additional conversations since you frontloaded the application.

Lastly, they will issue you a letter that he will need the day of his interview.

Study like a fiend for NVC processing this weekend.

Review the first post over at http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/360415-nvc-filers-april-2012/

and start making copious notes.

If'n you want some speed, you learn (after reading the content in those links)

that it behooves you to push stuff into NVC, being pro-active about everything.
