Hi Everybody,

I just filed my paperwork and I am really nervous... I check for emails and TEXT's every 5 minutes. I am getting crazy and the worst is that every case is different I can see people that wait only 2-3 days and other until 1 week for the first notification... Good that I found this forum, is better when you know people going thru the same things... Thank you all...

I THINK I MADE A MISTAKE ON MY PAPERS :( someone help ahh

i put on the part where is says place of entry to the US ..the destination on where i got of the plane in Jacksonville North Carolina ....

should i of put Dublin cause i left there ????????

I don't think it will be a problem, we put Newark since that's where he came in, but I think he left out of Dublin. We sent all of the passport pages so I'm sure won't be a problem.

Thank you so much, same to u... but as you saw that the checks are on pending , that means that you are in a good shape, btw, they don't go to the bank lol coz they have an electronic system that they withdraw money from Bank accounts, e-check.if you filed G-1145 you r gonna receive texts and emails before the hard copies, that's usually 3-4 days before you receive the hard copy of NOA in the mail

My husband said about the same, that they did not run to the bank as soon as they got my checks :)By the way today it's shows that checks cashed on 04/25. I did not sign up for electronic notification, and still did not receive anything in the mail. Hopefully its on the way Thanks for support! Its a great site and nice people

Just wonder where do papers "travel" from Chicago office? What is the entire process from there to our local office?

I would assume they do a simple zip code lookup for whatever DO has jurisdiction over your place of residence and then send it to that office for processing.

you can sign up for notification in USCIS.COM, after you receive NOA. and regarding your question , most of the time the I130 & I485 will be received on the Lockbox then to the NBC then finally to the local office

Checked my online status today its saying they are sending me a RFE :( :( this is going to delay the whole process

Try to stay calm and hopefully you will get the hard copies shortly. Take care of it right away and things will continue to process. Stay positive...maybe its a real easy fix, like a signature!

Besides...you have your biometrics to look forward to...so its not like the case ISN'T moving.

Bummer... I can't check my status on the website. And I haven't received my appointment letter for biometrics yet. Trying to hold out one more week before calling.

You can get an RFE and biometrics? Damn. Now that worries me.

Hey all, what do you think the timeframe is to safely assume you're not going to get an RFE? I'm at day 25, I did my biometrics a week ago, and I know this is the long wait, but the RFEs are starting to invade my nightmares!
