Greetings.

Many times I feel so lucky to be a part of this website. There is so much information that is both encouraging and helpful. Does anyone know of a site, or forums where my wife can post, and read post from other people attempting to get a US visa? I just want her to be encouraged and informed just like I am when reading these forums. Thanks for the info!

Ironically, Ryan H's move of your thread is also the answer to your question...

Non-English posts are allowed in the "Lower Forums" such as the regional forum where your thread now resides. She can come to this section of VJ and ask away in Spanish...

She might be able to google and find one that's specific to Colombia? The only one that I have heard a lot about is the Ciudad Juarez (Mexico) forum. http://www.smf.juarez-mexico.com/index.php

I've seen people post in English and/or Spanish and there is a lot of useful information and sample documents but it's sometimes specific to Mexico and the consulate in Juarez.

I've never come across a website in Spanish, however, many members here on VJ have started several Spanish threads in the Latin American forum that she will find very useful:

COLOMBIANOS con CR1

COLOMBIANOS VIVIENDO EN LOS EE.UU.

Colombianos para Remover las Condiciones de Residencia

By the way, in case you haven't see it, we have a Colombia Club thread that has been used by VJ members for many years. It's a central location to ask and find answers to all your questions regarding the visa process in Colombia: Colombia Club Part IV. Page one has parts 1, 2 & 3.

Diana

CR-1

09/27/07 - Interview, visa granted

Removing Conditions

And if I may add the above links a Godsend and people like Diana all the contributing VJ members are a reliable source not only of inspiration but support!!!

I believe there are some forums in Univision.com also for Colombians, I've found some good ones for Peruvian girls in this process, so there's no doubt that also is one for Colombia!

For my other half, I copied and pasted relevant things as I came across them and just sent emails. He is too shy to post anything here. Ones that were in English, we discussed so that we both had a clear understanding of the topic. Those "small bites" From May last year to this month have made for a lot of information. This might be a method to try until y'all can find an online spot where she is comfortable.

Your wife can go to this forum http://foro.univisio...tesderesidencia

It is about residency procedures, and it is all in Spanish.
