well, I have been watching Igors list and now at Vermont he has moved back the time to Dec. 30th. About 2 weeks ago it was at Jan 25th and I was getting excited because my priority date is Feb 1st. Then out of the blue he moved it to Jan. 4th. It progressed until Jan 16th, again I am happy we are getting closer. Now I check this morning and he moved it back again... Now it is at Dec. 30th... #######... This does not make any sense. What does this list mean??

I checked the chart and now the days have gone up a lot... now it is listed at 88 days.. It seems we gain no ground. As the days pass, the day's get longer for approval??? This is crazy.

Married...... 1-20-12

Sent I-130... 1-30-12

NOA1........ 2-1-12

touched...... 2-10-12

I made a spreadsheet of all the I-130s I could find that were received on the same day as mine. I've got about 500. About 5% have been decided and 3% RFE'd. Now, maybe I'm missing a whole bunch but for 1 day in Feb that's not bad. They may be slowing down but they also seem to be working out of order. That may be part of what this list is showing us. According to Igor's list, nothing in Feb has been touched. I know that no one knows the whole truth about what is going on except VSC but my 1 day analysis is giving me something factual to hold on to- even if it is just 1 day!

Keep your heads up, guys!

When CSC speeds up, VSC slows down.

When VSC speeds up, CSC slows down.

That's the normal trend at least.. I think they try to balance work loads so when the CSC backlog gets big enough they transfer a whole bunch of files to the VSC and the other way around..

I agree with you...let's not panic and stay positive!

what's igor's list

Igor's list is a timeline here on VJ. It helps members to guesstimate approximately when they journey will go to the next step. It is a useful tool, as long as you remember it is a calculation based on the members updating their personal timeline from their profile. You can find it under timeline. Please update your profile if you have not already. ?
