Hello, so today I had my interview in Riga, Latvia. I want to share this with you who are still waiting for their interview. Arrived there 15 minutes early, got in, got a number, sat down. In about 5 min my number was called. Latvian lady asked me all the forms, papers, pictures. She didn't ask for DS- 230 part II or any proof of ongoing relationship (she said if consular will need that, he will ask). Only problem i had was that since I am a basketball player I stayed in Cyprus more than 6 month, she said you might need a police clearance. She got all the forms from me and told me to sit down. was waiting about 1h and 15 min then finally my number was called again. The consular (American) was very nice and friendly, he asked a few questions, like -

Where did we meet?

Why did we start dating?

Does he have an apartment or he lives with his family?

Has he met my family?

Is my family ok with my decision?

Do I have a criminal record? (He never mentioned that I need a police clearance from Cyprus)

Is this will be my first marriage?

And maybe some other small questions, I really don't remember anymore. Anyways he said, I think I got everything I need and you are APPROVED. Can you come to get your passport with Visa tomorrow 3-4pm? YESSSS!!! Such a Good Day.

He never asked for any proof of ongoing relationship, i had prepared emails, skype logs, phone logs, pictures, flight tickets.

Just want to say that every case and every country is different and don't rely on other people situations. You make your own :) Good Luck To all yall!!!
