Good morning,

Is it necessary to put into the cover letter an explanation or story of how my husband and I met? Or is that something that goes on another sheet or later time it's not clear either way?

I'm not even sure if It 's recommended to do so? Thank you

NO there is no cover letter needed , but you should attach a supplement answer to that question of how you to met. So in the answer box for that particular question, just write or type "please see attached supplment for question #??" . Then just type out your story in a word doc. and paper clip on the back of the orginal form when you send in your package. I believe on this website there is a tab where they give you example of how to fill our forms you will see and example of this. Hope this is helpful. . Good luck !!!!!

if i were you i did attached the letter because they may want to use that as an excuse to send a RFE and that will delay the process trust they did that to me soooo sent it .

There is no such question on the I-130. Perhaps you're thinking of the I-129F. Depending on the circumstances of the case and any red flags, it can be a great idea to include an "Evolution of Relationship" letter but it would include far more than an explanation of how the couple met. Time for the OP to do some careful study of the country specific issues and any red flags in their case. Time for chikings to learn the difference between what's asked on an I-130 and an I-129F.

Be aware that any affidavits should be about the relationship, not the wedding.
