At least two weeks before you go to interview. For me, I was studying when I was done with finger print ( biometric ).

Depends on how quick of a learner you are. If you know a lot about US history already, you might not have to study at all.

Like you, I am a March filer, I've already started studying the questions and answers, I've got most of them down pat, but I know I will wig out when the big day arrives, agh!

Last year at this time I was waiting on biometrics like you. I really wouldn;t stress too much. Look at the questions every once in a while if you have downtime. reading through some practice tests keeps them in the back of your mind, but like someone mentioned above, if you find you know many of them, do study over the last couple weeks. I found I could put the questions in 3 categories: those I knew off my heart, those I could give an educated guess and then those I flat out didn't know. It turned out I had far fewer then 100 that I actually needed to study for.

Find an app, have your spouse or family members quiz you on 4 or 5 randomly before dinner each night and you'll do fine.

You could put the CD in your car and listen to it as you drive. That worked for my husband.

My husband started over 3 years ago. It was at first a curiosity about what is on a US citizenship test. That led to wanting to know more about the US and actually understanding the concepts behind all those topics. We sometimes just talked about how the government works here and the history. Now that it's almost time to take the test, most of it is already in his brain and not a memorize the answers kind of task. Being a native English speaker has a big advantage. I think it would be a huge task for people who have limited English. Hats off to them!

i'm a slow learner so i started just reading and going over the qustion as soon as i got my interview letter.

my hubby would quiz me over skype(since he was out of town).and when he got back home he would give me some lessons as well to help me understand better(he love love history).he had hard time with some of the quastions since he did not agree with some of the ansures.

but i passsed the test and it was supper easy.i dont know why i stressed out over it so much

If you're a fluent English-speaker you don't need to start studying at least until you get your interview letter. That gives you about a month's notice, which is plenty of time to memorise the hundred questions. At least half of them are things that most people with an English-speaking-background will know already just from watching television and reading books so you really only have to 'learn' the tricky ones.

If you have to do the whole thing by rote it would be much, MUCH harder.
