I had my first weigh-in and measurments at the gym yesterday..........................I LOST 6 pounds and a few inches! :dance: :dance: :dance: Celebrated by tanning and burnt my armpits...ouch! I have to watch my cravings, every time a fast food place has a new menu item I feel its my duty to try it :whistle:

Way to go Jackie!

Happy Friday Everyone! Today has been an awesome day. My IPad3 story was a bust this morning when no one was waiting outside the store in a line to buy one like with the IPhones. I don't blame them since it was raining. But I did win two employee tickets to the Opera! I'm going to see "Nixon in China" either tonight or Sunday with my hubby. Our first date night in awhile if he can spare the time. I know he has his exams coming. We also bought his plane tickets to LA for Step 2 CS before airfares go sky high with the rising fuel prices. We're trying to register him for Step 1 next month but the website keeps going down. I hear this is a problem with their website. One of my co-workers also gave me a "Sweet Life" dessert at the end of my work day. It was berry good! The start of my weekend is turning out really awesome! And Andrea my body is not sore anymore either. I feel more muscular though. lol

Day 12 of being sick to my stomach... had to have blood work today to narrow some things down. So far its a bacterial infection but day 12 & Im exhausted from always being sick to my stomach!

Happy St Patrick's Day MENA!!

Spent the day today taking my mom out for a mani/pedi and a general stroll through the mall. This weather is just soo weird this time of the year! Kind of makes me nervous of what kind of summer we are going to have!:unsure: I sure don't look forward to "hurricane season".

Still haven't seen the biometric letter yet. I finally broke down and called USCIS last week. Of course the woman I talked to couldn't see anything in the computer. She did say to wait until 30 days from the date of the NOA and call back. I just hate to think that we would miss the biometric appt date only because of not getting the letter!!!

Sharifah, that's something about the difference in the size of your feet!! In fact I bought a pair of shoes today at the mall and the sales clerk actually took the shoes out of the box and turned them over and checked the sizes of the shoes to make sure they matched. Made me think hmmmm, I wonder how many people switch out the sizes? Or possilbly accidently put in 2 left shoes??? HMMMMM :whistle:

Anyways I hope everyone has a great weekend!!

07/28/11 USCIS cashed check

07/30/11 Recieved NOA1 and Biometrics letter

08/24/2011 Biometrics

08/25/2011 RFE sent to us for some info we've already sent in

08/30/2011 sent in the rest of info USCIS asked for

09/13/2011 went to congressman's office to sign papers for expedite of work permit, due to financial hardship

09/15/2011 Work permit expedite approved!! He can finally find a job!

09/24/2011 work permit arrives

09/26/2011 Apply for social security number!

09/30/2011 Letter is sent for interview

11/07/2011 INTERVIEW!!!

Its 2012 and still no approval! Still waiting

01/27/2012 Letter sent stating that file was sent on for more review :(

The Opera was nice though I wouldn't recommend going to a modern one like "Nixon in China". It seemed more like theater than classic Opera. It was nice to get out and enjoy the arts with my husband though. Going to the Opera together was a first for us.
