Every embassy is a little different on how they do things. One difference between Manila and Bangkok is Manila they send the passport through a delivery service and in Bangkok you leave your passport with the embassy and then you return in a few days to pick it up. What our problem was the medical forms at the hospital Pui went to used expired forms to fill out here paperwork. So after her interview she went back to the hospital and then have them redo the paperwork on the correct forms and she returned to the embassy before they closed for the day and they took that paperwork and her passport and she was able to get her visa a few days later. Yes, she gave the 221g back along with her passport and new medical forms she just got. For that she did not have to see the CO just the Thai person taking the documents and they said "congratulations" when the Thai person returned.

I understand you submitted the supporting documents 3 years W-2's. You submitted the supporting documents with the wrong form I-864. The Consulate is looking for the I-134 Affidavit of Support form with the supporting documents 3yrs W-2's. Being that the wrong form was submitted. They want you to re-submit the requested documents on the 221G. They may or may not piece the puzzle to together for you. So the W-2's submit with the I-864 may not count. They want the I-134 with 2011.

Yes I did submitted the i134 with an original w2 2011, I didn't provide bank statement nor employment letter because they took it on the interview day, I was uncomfortable because I didn't send them another employment letter and bankstatement and only send them what they ask for.

The I-864 and I-864A is used for sponsors, co-sponsor and Adjustment of Status. For the Visa Application, you needed to submit the I-134 Affidavit of Support.

The I-864 is used for immigrant visa applications (family based), NOT fiance visas (which are sort of a quasi non-immigrant/immigrant visa). For K1s, an I 134 is required.
