Question: How many people received their NOA2 close to the estimated time given here on VJ. Would you mind giving me your timeframe in regards to the accuracy of the estimate?

Our timeline said that we were due to be adjudicated somewhere between 7/18 and 7/23. We were adjudicated on 7/13, but got an RFE which pushed our timeline back to 8/3 to 8/8. We ended up getting the approval on 7/26. So, we were ahead of the VJ estimates at the time of the approval. Keep in mind, however, that the timelines constantly fluctuate. When I first joined VJ, our timeline was further out because CSC used to be the slowpoke. Sadly, VSC has taken that role as of late.

Thanks, everyone! I *am* happy, but there was a lot of feeling really dazed at the beginning. I had just left work at ~4:30pm, and was about to drive outside the city to buy my new sofa (i.e. the final piece of the Getting Things Ready For Aaron plan: I was just joking to him on the phone at lunchtime that the NOA2 could arrive whenever it wanted, now that I have the couch--that maybe the universe was waiting for me to be completely, TOTALLY ready), and when I got to the car I pulled out my phone to turn the ringer back on after having it on silent all day at work. There was a new text from like 2 minutes before that, and then it turned out to be USCIS saying my case had been updated. I don't have a smart phone, so cue my frantically driving to a nearby Dunkin' Donuts and then stealing some free wireless in the entryway so I could log into my account at USCIS and see what happened. And then I called Aaron, who didn't even answer the first time I called because his phone was charging in another room, and who is of course completely over the moon (although not enough that I could convince him to leave for Kampala to start working on the documents he needs right away--at midnight. Geez, why not???). :star:

Yay!! That's a happy story! You're the starter of the February filers group, so it's nice that the leader has made it through!

So, back to the matter at hand: does anyone else have receipt #s who hasn't already sent them to me? Particularly from the end of February. I'd love to have at least 50 from each of the days I'm watching!

Thanks for all the receipt #s, everyone! We now have a nice group of 70 petitions from Feb. 22, 24, 27, and 29, 70 in total. No activity in this group yet except on Feb. 29: 1 RFE 7/27, 1 RFE 7/26, and 1 approval 8/9.

For today, in the rest of the petitions, I spotted:
