So i was as suprised as my fiance when he read to me the RFE letter!! I suppose they lost all the documents because they are asking for evidence that we have met within 2 years This is what i put in the package when i sent it 3 month ago ( i sent pictures of us dated within the last 3 years, plane tickets, passport stamps, letter of friends and family with ID that certifies we know each other since more then 2 years, facebook messenger conversation, skype conversation, letters, emails...) My fiance is going to call them today to make sure it's not a mistake otherwise we will have to send the same documents over again!

CRAZY! and scary that they can't keep up with your stuff. I'm so sorry! Here's hoping you don't have to reprint all that, I know it's so tedious.huh.gif

ugh the CSC is moving so slow. This month has been painful with the waiting process. Happy for the VSC'ers but I have a feeling we're a month behind.

I feel your pain, Scott. Looking at the timelines, VSC seems to be at least 2-3 weeks ahead of CSC. I'm hoping CSC picks up the pace soon!

I don't know: CSC seems to be moving a lot faster than VSC over the past few weeks. If you look at the graphs, CSC is not too far behind VSC on December petitions at all, and about even on the January ones.

I'm excited to see some action at all being taken on more of the February petitions, though! Don't RFE'd petitions usually become approvals within a few weeks after satisfactory evidence is submitted? An RFE isn't much of a delay, all things considered, if you get it now and everyone else gets approvals in a month or longer!

Sorry if this sounds dumb, I'm pretty tired so might have read this wrong...but you said you had pics dated within THREE yrs and statements saying you've known each other longer than two yrs. Have you met in person in the last two years?

In everyone's life, at some time, our inner fire goes out. It is then burst into flame by an encounter with another human being. We should all be thankful for those people who rekindle the inner spirit.

We met each other on february 2010 and we have seen each other several times since the last 3 years! i suppose USCIS lost the documents because they are asking for dated pictures and passport stamps and i've already included those documents in the first package i sent in January!

Have you physically been together in the same place within the last 2 years? That is the information they will be looking for. If evidence is date stamped before 2010, then they will need more recent evidence than this. The rules state that you must have been physically together in the same place within the last 2 years.

Did you submit any proof of engagement along with your application such as engagemnt report released by a church, or any other official documents to show that you were officially engaged, other than pictures and statements?

Do you need to do that? Other than submitting a ton of evidence that I know and have been in the same room with my fiance in the last two years, I didn't provide anything that offered concrete proof that I'm engaged. Just wonderin'.

This is absolutely not required!!! We don't need to have an engagement ring either...! I do have mine so if they need a proof of engagement i have it!

I didn't mean that. Sometimes USCIS rely on official documents released from official organizations, such as churches, as a concrete proof of being engaged to each other. It realy depends on the person who is handling your application. Some may be even bother asking for RFE, while others are so hard and trying to be more accurate than it's realy required.

Send them pictures that were dated recently, the most recent one, not three years ago. They need to make sure that you still have that strong relationship until now at the same rate you showed them through these pictures dated three years ago.

Our I129f was accepted Feb 6 and NOA Feb8 I think. I will probably not have my engagement ring until I arrive in the USA unless my mother in Law visits, as it is a family ring and she is scared to mail it. Joe is in Afghanastan working and comes to PI on his breaks.

This is what I did as well. If they want more than that (like official documents of engagement), I don't have it either because it was more like a ceremony involving family and friends. Good luck in the rest of your journey. Send them everything ASAP to pevent delays
