Welcome back, Darkmoonfaerie, and glad you had a nice time!

The timeline adjudication estimates and processing dates are zooming forward lately! I know we shouldn't read any more into this than the slowdown before, but I can't help but find it encouraging nonetheless! CSC is late November and VSC is even saying December now!

Wow...also awesome news. I wonder if they expedited somehow?

It actually seems much too slow to be an expedite or some sort of special case, at almost 2 months (and the poster didn't mention anything about any unusual circumstances), so I'm going to choose to interpret it as a sign of good things to come. That petition is RIGHT ABOVE MINE in Igor's List, so I keep wishing for some of that magic approval dust to waft downward, haha.

I am so ready for the wait to be over LOL... I'm not loving my job right now, but there's not much of a point in leaving and looking for something new, since I'll be leaving the country within the year... So I really just want that NOA2 so I can make arrangements to leave.

I'm having a tough week with them just leaving. I'm trying to not timeline and USCIS stalk too much. I've been cranky and am so glad it's the weekend. Been making myself focus more on wedding and cruise plans so I don't mope.

On a good note, a friend from Canada just told me he's hoping to come visit for a week next month. Should be fun, we've known each other almost 10 yrs online and speak daily but not had the chance to hang out in person. He's actually agreed to be in our wedding party too. I'm hoping playing tour guide will help pass the time. I just have to figure out where to take a very shy geeky gamer guy who hates outdoor stuff, doesn't like museums unless they're "cool and not art" and is a fussy eater. Guessing a game at Fenway and hanging out at my favorite floating bar might not be such a good plan. I know some of you are in my area. If you have ideas, I'll take 'em :help: So far he likes Higgins Armory and The Chocolate Bar at the Langham in Boston. It does suck Alan has to wait till the wedding to get to meet him in person. They've gotten to be friends too. Hey, it will make the wedding more fun heh.

Happy weekend everyone!

BTW Joy, I love the sushi ticker :)

Not a good week here really - feel like I'm under pressure to get everything sorted for him to get here and have it all 'just right', and I know he's really starting to get anxious about the actual move, so we are both on edge. 4 more weeks until visit time so hopefully that will cheer us up. And the waiting...I stopped checking the lists too! Was driving myself batty... Ah well...tomorrow's another day and as long as approvals are happening somewhere then they'll get to all of us at some point I suppose? I'm thinking some nice music and vodka will take the edge off. :-p Haha! Hope everyone enjoys their weekend!

I've actually stopped to check my timeline/Igors list, my e-mail all the time. Was driving myself crazy! I try to breath and relax, but I'm stressing about not knowing when we can go. All the stuff I have to fix like selling apartment, furniture and all. I also have to let my job know three months in advance... Not easy to plan anything, since we really don't know. I hope we would get there at the end of August so that our son have a fresh start at school in September.... Ahhhh!

Now trying to fill my time with happy things: going wedding dress shopping with my friend, she is getting married next year!

The 15 most recent VSC approvals TODAY are:

October: 4

November: 4

December: 7

The 15 most recent CSC approvals TODAY are:

September:1

October: 3

November: 6

December: 1

January: 2

February: 1

March: 1

I think there's been progress in the last 1.5 weeks. (And I like to record things like this here so that we can look back and compare when it feels like they are not getting anywhere at all!) CSC is still mostly in November petitions, but the majority of them are in the second half of the month. And VSC is almost exclusively in first-half-of-December petitions. (For VJ members, at least.)

CSC: 1 September, 4 October, 8 (late) November, 1 March (must be an expedite)

VSC: 4 October, 1 November, 9 December, 1 February

MissK, yay for going along wedding dress shopping! And Kimmie, oooh, a visit! Darkmoonfaerie--the Langham Chocolate Bar was amazing last time I went (which was probably 5 years ago--maybe I should go again!).
