I am making this for dinner tonight, "Chinese Take-Out" Lemon Chicken ....

it got pretty good reviews on the Kraft site.. some of the reviews said they used sugar free Jello and fat free Italian dressing and some substituted lemon Jello for orange Jello......

I am going to use a bag of frozen mixed stir-fry vegies and I am going to add some onion...

"Chinese Take-Out" Lemon Chicken

1 Tbsp. oil

1 lb. boneless skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips

1 pkg. (6 oz.) snow peas (about 2 cups), trimmed

1 small red pepper, cut into strips

1 pkg. (4-serving size) JELL-O Brand Lemon Flavor Gelatin

1 Tbsp. cornstarch

1/2 cup chicken broth

2 Tbsp. KRAFT Zesty Italian Dressing

2 cloves garlic, minced

HEAT oil in large skillet on medium-high heat. Add chicken; cook 4 min. or until cooked through, stirring occasionally. Add snow peas and peppers; cook and stir 2 min.

MIX dry gelatin mix and cornstarch in small bowl. Add broth, dressing and garlic; stir until gelatin is dissolved. Add to skillet. Reduce heat to medium; cook 3 min. or until sauce is thickened, stirring frequently.

SERVE over hot cooked rice, if desired.

it was really good... I just had it over the rice though not sure how it tastes by itself..

I just served it with some fried rice....

and instead of the snow peas and red bell pepper... I used a bag of frozen vegies that had snow peas, peppers, carrots, mushrooms, water chestnuts and onion....

Hi heres a recipe from astray recipes, this recipe is suppose to be a clone of Outback Steakhouse bread

1 1/2 cup warm water

1/2 cup Dark Molasses

2 tablespoon Oil

1 tablespoon Sugar

1 tablespoon Salt

1 tablespoon cocoa (optional)

2 cups Rye Flour

2 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour or bread flour

1 pack of Yeast or 2 1/4 Teaspoons

Add all the ingredients in order given to your bread machine. Use bread machine dough cycle let rise till doubles in greased bowl. Punch down. Shape into 2 large round loaves placed a few inches apart on greased and cornmeal dusted cookie sheet or fill 6 mini foil loaf pans, greased and dusted in cornmeal, with the dough, dividing it evenly between these little pans. Let loaves rise till doubled in warm place. Bake large loaves preheated oven at 375- about 30 minutes or till crust makes hollow sound when tapped. For tiny loaves place pans on dry ungreased cookies sheets, a few inches apart. When doubled in size, bake at 375- for 20 minutes or till crust makes that hollow sound when tapped. Bread freezes beautifully.
