Of course not!

Pending means... pending, the current processing is not over. He's in AP?

Looking at your timeline, it looks like your interview was just about 2 weeks ago and put into AR. What was the reason? Background checks? If DOS says the case is still pending, it doesn't mean they're revoking your case, just that whatever they're doing, it's still pending.

DOS doesn't handle physical cases. They're just a place to contact about information about your case.

Did the embassy say they were going to send your case back to USCIS or NVC? Or is your case still at the embassy?

Is it standard for Turkey to issue AP? I know some Middle Eastern countries do this frequently for background checks. This might be the case for you as well.

I'd suggest calling DOS again and asking WHY you got put into AP. See if they can tell you why. If it's just background checks, then you can't really do anything except to wait and call DOS each day for an update, if any.

The Department of State is just the branch of government in charge of embassies, to make it short. They centralize information about embassies pending work, so they can see in their big database all the open visa applications and what their status is. DOS does not make any decision on a case. Calling DOS is a good idea because they have a call center and they can always tell you what the last update is for your case status. Embassies are usually a lot harder to reach.

Revocation can only happen after a case was denied by the consular officer, it is dealt with by USCIS, and they always give you a chance to rebutt the embassy's decision.

Relax, breathe deeply, your husband's visa was NOT denied, and your case is NOT being revoked. I know I'd be in agony if I was in your situation, but you have to try and keep it rational.

Call back the DOS line and ask what exactly is the status of the case. Did you ever get any answers from the embassy?

(F) Stay strong.

The CO said 2 weeks, right? So there's good hope you'll hear something in 2 weeks :)

You should probably get help from members who know more about AP and be told the right questions to ask to DOS.

I agree, I think you will hear something soon. I understand your frustration, especially if you are still waiting to come back to the USA from Turkey, but if your case was sent back to be revoked, your husband would have received a red slip like mine did saying the petition was send back to the NVC.

It will be ok. You have so much hope that this will not take too much longer. Hang in there.

after an interview - usually this means 'additional processing' or 'administrative review' -

however -

suggest you call back, ask specifically -'Is the case in additional processing or administrative review?'

then

'Which one?'

then

'Are the namechecks complete by the FBI yet, or not?'

as the DoS Human[tm] will never just tell you, with out you asking, specifically.

You must ask, and use precise verbiage.

Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.
