We got out NOA1 email today, 3 days after sending off the I-130 packet off from the Caribbean. After much hoping and praying, we got the word that our case has been sent to VSC. I've read and read and think that VSC looks like the safer bet. Sorry CSC filers! I know we have a good 5-6 months of waiting but I'm feeling encouraged for the moment.

5-6 months??? I thought the same until I saw my NOA2 after 52 days, and many other's have received theirs faster. Count your blessings, I think you'll be hearing something alot sooner than 5-6 months.

I check on here every day for filing dates etc.....

Based on everyone's comments, I'm just resigned to the fact that the whole thing is entirely out of my control, and all you can do is wait. The best thing to do right now is to get the affidavit of support together so you're prepared - its the only thing you CAN control right now.

K1 Process -

1/30/12 - I-129F sent

2/2/12 - NOA1 Received (CSC)

2/3/12 - Visa App Fee Check Cashed

6/18/12 - NOA2 Email Received at 9PM MST

6/22/12 - NOA2 Letter Received in Mail

7/11/12 - NVC Received

7/13/12 - NVC Sent Case to Moldova Embassy

7/18/12 - Packet 3 dropped off to Embassy

7/19/12 - Packet 3 & 4 Instructions Received from Embassy

7/23/12 - Medical Exam Passed

7/27/12 - Interview

8/4/12 - POE Denver, CO

9/14/12 - Wedding #1 (Denver Courthouse)

9/17/12 - AOS/EAD sent

9/19/12 - AOS/EAD NOA1

10/23/12 - Biometrics

Exciting, I got VSC too with and got my NOA1 email on same day.

02/08/12 - I-130 sent to Chicago Lockbox.

02/09/12 - NOA1 received and processing at Vermont.

07/02/12 - NOA2 announced on status check.

07/09/12 - NVC received case.

07/27/12 - NVC Case Number and IIN Issued.

07/27/12 - Sent DS-3032 via email.

07/31/12 - AOS bill received via email, paid online.

08/01/12 - AOS marked paid, Mailed AOS packet overnight.

08/06/12 - Assigned as Agent, IV Fee bill received via email, paid online.

08/07/12 - IV Fee marked paid, Mailed IV packet overnight.

08/07/12 - AOS accepted.

08/13/12 - Case completed

09/14/12 - Assigned Interview date.

Hi Caribbean Pirate....

Not to demoralize you but want to share..... I filled I -130 @VSC and got NOA2 on 17th Oct. 2011...Waiting for NOA2......Definitely wish you to get your NOA2 earliest possible........CSC seemed to be almost month and half back logged, no more ...FYI, on the latest time frame update on USCIS both VSC and CSC have 5 months for I -130 @ UC for Spouse

I am hoping to hear from USCIS within week -2 weeks....Cant Wait.....I would say prepare yourself and spouse for 6 months...if you got earlier then that will be sweet....its really hard to count the days when it passes the time line..........
