Wow, I'm next in line with Amanda and Josh

Actually with the time difference I will be the last one! My husband arrives on Sunday, and we'll be going to Paris by train on Monday night (with the cat, long stressful story). Interview is on Tuesday at 1PM local time.

I got plane tickets for April 12th, which should be way enough time to receive the passport with the visa if everything goes well, but I kind of forgot that I have an appartment full of stuff to get rid of :bonk: . The ticket was an "impulsive purchase" I made the day I received the interview letter

Woohooo! Congrats!

I'm happy to know it was easy for you! I have lost sleep too, can't go to bed before 3:30am and awake before 8 :sleepy:

I just can't wait for it to be over, and I hope it's gonna be easy for us too!

There were a few awkward moments, i couldnt find my marriage liscence, my forms were filled in wrong, my fingerprints wernt taking, they didnt have any record of my fee payments... lol! But looking back now it really wasnt anything i couldnt handle :)

I felt exactly the same as you dont worry and no matter how many people told me i was going to do great and that i had no reason to worry and everything was going to be fine, i was just too scared to believe them incase something went wrong... so i can relate completly! Just try and relax and im sure everything will work out great for you too! Best of luck!

Hey everyone!

I'm almost at the interview stage, and I'm putting together a list of documents to send to my husband for the interview. So far I'm planning to send him every document we sent for the I-130, the AOS, and the IV. I'm also going to send our 2011 tax return, my original birth certificate, and the receipts of our AOS & IV payments. Is there anything else that you guys are bringing to the interview (other than the beneficiary's passport, US-sized passport photos, and police report/birth certificate/marriage certificate, of course)?

USCIS (221 days)
07-13-2011 -- I-130 sent
07-15-2011 -- I-130 NOA1 received in the mail

NVC (26 days)
02-24-2012 -- NVC receives application
