Consulate Review: Dominican Republic
Review Topic: IR-1/CR-1 Visa
Event Description
Review Date : March 11, 2012
Embassy Review : Arrived to consul around 6:20 am there were about 100 people already there waiting anout 40 mins to get inside got called to window 22 to give police cetificate and documents then sent straight to window 13 for finger printing. Around 8 15 am got called to window 20 very nast american lady sworn us in and right from the start she was rude with an attitude asking us how we met and then she told my spouse to leave then started asking me questions like his birthday, his mother name, the last time i traveled out there, who woke up first , who showered first, what time did we have sexual intercourse, my kids father name, my supervisors name, how do i travel to work from work, does my kids father pay child support, the name of my kids and there ages that about it then she called in my husband asked him the same questions then gave him a white paper. Denied without being able to show them proof or nothing i hate the embassy from DR they are not fair and just want to keep me away from my husband but i will not let that happen even if i have to move to DR i will....
Rating : Very Poor

*Notice about estimates: The estimates are based off averages of other members recent experiences
(documented in their timelines) for the same benefit/petition/application at the same filing location.
Individual results may vary as every case is not always 'average'. Past performance does not necessarily
predict future results. The 'as early as date' may change over time based on current reported processing
times from members. There have historically been cases where a benefit/petition/application processing
briefly slows down or stops and this can not be predicted. Use these dates as reference only and do not
rely on them for planning. As always you should check the USCIS processing times to see if your application
is past due.
