It makes it slower. I-130 is pulled out of line and sent back to the beginning of the queue once they get the I-129F.

Both of ours were approved at the same time and then 129F was administrativly closed. 129F was very mute.

Comparison on K-3 vs CR-1 - http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/204324-wondering-if-i-made-a-mistake-marrying-in-us/page__view__findpost__p__3060767

K-3 administratively closed - http://www.visajourney.com/news/2010/02/07/department-of-state-to-close-k-3-visas-if-i-129f-and-i-130-petitions-approved-and-received-together/

K-3's are so 'last decade'. Why to think to bother with them, really? Is double work at the beginning, slows down the I-130 adjudication queue, and in the end, NVC closes it. I'm thinking you can do other things to participate in an exercise in futility - why to go this route??

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

Thank you so much guys! My only concern is that when filing for I-130, for form G-325A of myself, for question "This form is submitted in connection with an application for:", I selected other and specified I-129F for K3. I have already mailed out the I-130 petition. This is why I'm concerned if I need to file I-129F when I get NOA1 of I-130 or is it OK?

Please advise.

From the sounds of it, you probably don't need to file I-129F at all.

Just do the I-130 process ...

This is not an issue if the G325a was mailed with the I-130. They will simply use the information and forward the approved petition to NVC.
