EAD just arrived! At last!

7 posts in this topic

Well now the company who offered me a job will actually be able to give me it, as I have just received my EAD card!

So happy that I will be able to work and have some real benefits and we can finally get some financial stuff properly put together. Not to mention that I can finally get my NY State Learner's permit!

My AOS went to California, but now when I check it it says it's gone to a USCIS office.

What could that mean?

The first notice was telling you it was sent to CSC, the second was telling you it was received at CSC and is being processed.

If it actually lists the local office name (Des Moines, IA for me for example) then it's transferred to your local office for interview.

My AOS went to California, but now when I check it it says it's gone to a USCIS office.

What could that mean?

California Service Center is the office they mean.
