It doesn't make it faster. The requirements stay the same.

If your fiancé's employment doesn't continue after moving to the US, you have to look into a co- and joint sponsor later on. Having an income in the US (along with residency) would be for later on but wanted to mention it in case you hadn't looked into it.

Living together makes the wait easier, and it builds evidence of a bona fide relationship when the consular phase occurs.

It is a lot nicer to be together while waiting for the process to finish. Luckily, my husband and I only lived 2 1/2 hours from each other, so we got to see each other every weekend while we waited out the process.
