Congrats, Katchoo12! My fiance is doing POE in Dublin in less than 2 days from now and I can't wait! We're hoping to file AOS in early December. I've already started working on the paperwork.

Got Packet 4 Today!! Interview scheduled for January 22, 2013. (That was the first available one for MTL) (sigh)

361 days from Filing petition to interview.. gotta be the slowest process on earth!! :whistle:

But I certainly feel better knowing I have a date now. I tell you, the process post NOA2 is a LOT LESS Stressful than

pre NOA2!! :thumbs:

I'm glad you got a date and I'm not sure if this is possible for you, but is there anyway to maybe call once a week and ask if there is a cancelled appointment to try and fit in earlier?

Yay for an interview date, Kim!!

You can keep an eye on the CSC website, sometimes earlier appointments do come up. A couple of weeks ago, there was a November one, randomly. I couldn't change it because Tom couldn't get the days off work (and he already took the December days around my interview off, so for one week, it didn't seem worth it) - so just keep an eye on it, you may find something sooner.

All, how long should Javi wait to apply for his SSN? We got our marriage license on Monday... It was a super pain because they wanted an ID with his address, and it doesnt say in his passport and neither on his Honduras ID. And he cant get an Indiana ID right now. I was getting really fed up but then the lady found the outgoing customs paper from when we flew which had his address in Honduras on it. Such a pain for a piece of paper!

I believe the recommended wait time is about 10 business days after POE.
