I am just worrying if our congressman office knows about all those procedures...

Sabi, I will let you know what happens tomorrow when my Congressman goes for the expedite. Apparently the processing date updates this week too (according to a CSR) She expects it to change to either 1/18 or 1/20. But they still wouldn't put a service request in. But I'm going Congressional route anyway so hopefully this will do the trick..or I could get some good news tonight. But not counting on it. Seems slow again today.

Good news ! My fiance congressman put an expedite on our petition, we hit the 6 months mark today. Hopefully NOA2 will come very soon

Also, Katchoo your received date is 1/17 when you input your receipt number correct?

Yes. I'm very curious to see what happens. I've hit a brick wall every single time..but it seems this process is just inconsistent in every way. Some people receive service requests although the processing date is earlier than their received dates. Some have success with a congressional inquiry while others receive the same response that the petitioner is provided. ha. Seems impossible to figure anything out right now. All I do know is they need to get busy adjudicating! hope today isn't going to be this slow..

I decided to call the NVC in the high hopes that our petition would be in their system given it was mailed from CSC on Thursday. They had it!! We have our London number!

you can all forget about the service request... we rang today and got a reply from tier 2 that we got a respond to our service request and it just says that they got our service request and it might take up to 90 days to hear anything... it took Terry 50 minutes on the phone to hear that... oh yeah I forgot and they process January 9! I swear I feel like giving up... I don't even want to move there anymore! I am so sick of it!

Actually, she called my fiance to tell him that she called uscis this morning and request an expedite !

I got an e-mail from the Ombudsman today. I contacted them on June 22 and got the reply today that since I was approved last week, they were closing my case with them. Interestingly enough, today would've been 6 months for me. Maybe some of the others who contacted Ombudsman will get replies soon.

Sure do, lets just hope we get approved before we hit the 6 months. My fiancee leaves tomorrow, hopefully we get some good news to make the day less stressful and more relaxing

Terry is really bad with organization and planning... I complete him haha! of course I don't mind but I wish he knew more sometimes as I am the only one getting frustrated... or maybe he is actually right, he is more patient than me as he is clueless...

Sabi, your fiance sounds exactly like mine! I had to send him detailed emails about what to do etc, plus "business" skype calls to go thro forms...!!!

Last sunday he was filling in the I-134 and he was shocked when I told him he had to send it by slow mail.. he asked me if I could just copy his signature! No way! Dont want to jeopardise my visa to save some money on a stamp! and he told me once I'm there I'll be taking care of all the paperwork, bills etc.. LOL
