And I don't know why but this instantly made me think of Mean Girls where that girl is like "I wish I could bake a cake with rainbows and smiles and we could all eat it and be happy." Then Damian: "She doesn't even go here!"

But I guess in this case "She doesn't even have a foreign fiance!"

hah it would be an awesome idea if at the end or beginning of each year people who got their visa and moved to the USA gather and talk about their journey ;)

Beach sounds great! actually anything sounds better than an Irish weather! I absolutely cannot wait to have at least 2 different seasons in a year :P

I am noticing that your thread title is suspiciously devoid of location...hhmmm... ;)

I wish there was a section for us to organize by US location. Major cities and grouped states would rock.

Locations for networking boards? Pages devoted to locations by city/state?

Perhaps if more folks were interested, then we COULD arrange some party time to let off steam, brag about successes, celebrate our victories, and encourage those who are still going through the process.
