Hi,

Well we filed for AOS back in November, and my husband had his biometrics, and we got word that the case was transferred to the California Service Center, but havent heard anything since.

We ar ehoping for his work authorization or ultimately his green card (optimistic that it would come so soon I know), but is there any way to check on the status like there was with our I-129f packet on the USCIS website?

I would be happy for the initial review message or anything.

Yes. Online where you checked the K1 you enter your AOS receipt numbers.

Yes, you put your receipt numbers into the "check my status" box at USCIS, exactly the same way as the I-129F petition.

I'm actually in the same boat as yourself. Entered on a k1 and then married late last year, currently waiting on my AOS including the EAD and adanced parole. I've also had my biometrics completed (Riverside, CA office) so we are at a similar stage.

I'm currently tracking my case status using the receipt/case numbers for all three pieces of documentation, the EAD, AP and AOS. They are all currently in the 'initial review' stage but I'll let you know as soon as any of them change so that you can gauge how quickly or slowly current AOS cases are moving. It would be great if you could do the same for me

You can actually set up email and text alerts so that you dont have to check online everyday/week....good luck!

p.s. What service centre is your application being processed through?
