Hi :D

My boyfriend is coming to see me Monday. He has a two stop flight from Springfield - Chicago - London (Heathrow) - Munich.

I was wondering where he will have to go through security check? In London or Munich?

When I first went to visit him I had an one stop flight and I had to go through security check in Atlanta, when I first stepped on the US land, no check in Springfield.

What about his case? I don't know about two stop flights.

Someone help.

my lover is mine and i am his.

when he gets off the flight in London he can just go straight to the gate of his connecting flight... no need to leave the secure area and no need to go back through security :) to do that though i think he will need to check-in from the start point right through to the end point

When I've flown through connecting countries, I went through customs and security at my final location as I never left the secure area during connecting flights, and was in the "international departures" area the whole time so there was no problem. Chances are he will go through customs in Munich. You probably went through security when you first touched down on US soil because you were then switching from the international area to the domestic.

When my fiance came to visit me from the US earlier in September, he was in 4 different flights. He only had to go through security before his very first flight(In the US), and before getting on his last flight(In Madrid).

Then once inside the secure area, he traveled freely from gate to gate without having to do it again.

I had to go through security in Chicago after arriving at LAX and doing security and customs there (LAX to ORD to IAH). I distinctly remember because I came in on one end of the airport and left from the whole other side. I had to go through security and even though they were calling my flight they wouldn't let any of us "push in" so a bunch of us missed the flight. At that time I didn't know they would just reschedule so I was really freaking out
