I totally understand how you feel but keep making those plans because you will be with your loved one and this really wont last forever. It feels it wil believe me i ache every day for my husbands beautiful eyes looking into mine but when that day comes the struggles will be gone and our challenges of happy endings begin. Just keep looking ahead.. and bfore you know it that time will be here.

Arif dude don't be angry :) I was sharing experience and trying to explain things to you, i think Eabbas have helped you to understand what i was trying to say.

it may not be anything to do with doubts but with name checks and background checks. Sometimes i feel very lucky that we had our CO call and do phone interview and then tell us that our case is fine nothing we had to worry about and the only thing left was name checks. That's where we have been ever since. Luckily our congressman is good and explained how name checks work.. it isnt a fast process at all.. its hurry up and wait in line then process the check when its completed ther it goes into another que for another check... but there are other ppl in line so its a long process just hang in there im sure its just checks. It will happen soon im sure.

exactly that's what i am talking about in my case they haven't ask me for nothing to submit its a name check on me because the co smiled when i told him my name and he said wow you have a very popular name which is true as arif and ali are the most common names in this part of the world and the other thing he was asking me again and again about Afghanistan visit the answer was no cuz i never been to Afghanistan lol. and the third thing is My master degree in chemistry

REad thru this.. it tells about the process and namechecks that are chosen to be screened on individuals and because we are from pakistan we already endure much more than most but you have an added check for your chemistry background. It will end... :) have faith!

I'm glad to make things better for you... i know we are stuck after 7 months and its very painful but i do know you all feel the same.. my situation is no worse than anyone elses. :) at least this will help you understand what they may be looking for and i just wish they could run all of them at the same time but it doesnt work that way sadly :( keep your chin up lol and do stop studying other areas of degrees now ;)

Okay so the medical's done (a point of information; you get your medical a lot quicker in Lahore rather than Karachi, they are also not fussy about trivial things), I'm expecting the sealed packet via courier hopefully this Monday. Me passport's been put forward for renewal as well, and that I'm expecting to receive by the end of next week... once I've everything together I'll send it forth. Keep me in your thoughts and prayers everybody!

As for what we have planned when we're together in the US; the lovely ADORES old town Sacramento. She's literally grown up there, and says it has this wild west vibe I'd love (I can be a wild west nut... usually). We're also planning on going to Chicago as her father works there so we can meet, I also love zoos so she's planning on taking me to this really awesome one in Chicago... and I've always heard such wonderful things about the downtown there so yays.

We're planning on getting married within a month and have two plans for the Honeymoon depending on our money situation; if we have most of our savings left, 'tis Hawaii, otherwise 'tis Disneyland as she loves it. It may sound silly to some but I can't wait to start me life with her. =)

if your asking do they check the petitioner and co sponsors? yes they do check usually during USCIS and NVC levels and they can also check again after interview. Are your inlaws sponsoring you?

I need all your opinion.

Last week Monday Embassy called my husband and asked him to submit a written signed statement saying that he has never been arrested anywhere in the world. My husband sent the letter through fedex on Wednesday. the Embassy was closed on Thursday and Friday for weekend in Saudi Arabia. We tracked the Fedex delivery and found that it was delivered Saturday morning. saturday afternoon embassy called my husband. The guy told Sami that they received the document. He said that Administrative Processing has not finished yet and they will call Sami when AP is over. Sami told him that we have been waiting for months now, he asked how much longer it might be. The man said our case is very unusual and they can not predict how much longer it might take.

I dont understand why they asked for thiis kind of letter. I dont understand why they called to tell us to wait when we are already waiting. I was surprized that they called on their own to let us know that they received the document and they called the same day they received it.

can you guys give me your opinions?
