AP at NVC

So today I called NVC to check if the case was send to the embassy. The lady on the other line told me that my case was going under AP and she cant give me a time limit since there is none. I was so mad after hearing that but something in my head kept saying to call back and inquire. So I called back twice just to be sure. So both times I was told that my case is being processed and should be send to the embassy shortly in couple of days. I even asked if it was under AP and I was told NO it wasnt and nothing special going on with the case. Now im confused as wat to really beleive. Is it in AP or not. Any help be greatly appreciated.

I rang them again today, they still don't have our file from USCIS.

there seem to have been a few people recently who have had the same problem with each phonecall producing different answers as to whether their case has arrived at NVC/been transferred to the embassy/is in AP at NVC...

We were approved on Dec 5th... NVC STILL haven't received it! :bonk:

No one here can tell you if you are in AP or not. Just keep calling every few days.

It happened to me. I called and got inconsistent answers - at one point, they said it was ready to be sent to the embassy, and then for two weeks thereafter, it was undergoing "additional processing". My understanding is that this AP at the NVC is random; all it does is slow you down for a few weeks. Annoying as hell (as if this entire process isn't already).

Umm ea try again....you'd be surprised how getting the "wrong person" gets ur no where.....

I deal with this all the time one rep would say x and the other say y

you said u send mail to vermont case center.. if its ok with u to give me e-mail add that wil help me so much please
