Field office people told me that I might have my naturalization interview in Feb 2012 and may be oath in march. If I am able to send I-130 for my parents in March/April 2012 then when do I need to file I-864 I mean after how many months.

for I-864 how many years income they calculate. I check on the poverty guideline and found out I will be able to sponser both of my parents if they check the income of the year 2011.

well my question is that If I am able to send their I-130 in march/ April of 2012 do you think I will be able to show my income of the year 2011 in I-864.

No

Current income is the one that matters.

You send the I-130 to USCIS. When it's approved, which could take a year or so, they'll forward it to the National Visa Center. You'll get the affidavit of support fee bill. That's when you'll pay the fee and file the affidavit of support. At the time you file the I-864 you must provide a copy of your tax return (or an IRS transcript of the tax return) for the most recent tax year. The most recent tax year changes every April when tax returns are due.

So, if you send the I-864 between April 2012 and April 2013 then you'll need to include your 2011 tax return. If you send the I-864 after April 2013, which is likely given how long it will take to get the petition approved, then you'll need to include your 2012 tax return. In either case, what you write on the I-864 must be your current income.

No, it's usually less for immediate relatives of US citizens. I'm padding my estimate assuming that the OP will probably take a few months to get all of the documents together after he becomes a US citizen before sending any petitions. Most people tend to focus on one thing at a time.

I sent in my I-130 for my mum the very day I took my oath ceremony: out of oath office, made copies of naturalization certificate and birth certificate and into post office to apply or US pasport and mail I-130 for my mother.

your 2011 salary will not show in your IRS TAX TRANSRIPT but you can get them to know your current income othorugh the LETTER OF EMPLOYMENT you are required to get and you can put this figure in the I-864 under 'CURRENT ANNUAL SALARY( that is what I did).

if you file as soon as you get take your oath your parnets could be interviewed in as little as 6months if no RFE to delay. See how fast my timeline went

Seems then within 6 months they will be in line for visa interview.. That means while filling I-864 I can show my income for the year 2011. They need letter from the employer stating how much I made or tax return transcript will be enough...

The other thing I am traveling to my country soon to meet with my parents.. When I m there what are the original documents I need to bring to file I-130 for my parents so that they don't have to send me lAter.. I mean do I need to bring any original papers with me to US?
