What if I lost my passport with my K1 visa, can it still be reprinted?

The question really is: "Have you entered the US with the visa?" If you are in the US then the visa is no longer valid or an issue--the lost passport is more of an issue. If you have not yet entered the US then you will need to get a new passport and then go to the Embassy and explain the situation to get a new visa issued and placed into your passport.

Then get a new passport and contact the Immigrant Visa Unit in Manila about getting a new visa. If issued again, it will still have the same expiration date as the original. It would be far better to find the passport, as there is no assurance a new visa will be issued.

if you don't find it, inform the embassy first and then get a new passport right away, don't forget to bring an affidavit of loss (go to police precint and report the loss)and bring it to DFA w/your other requirements and when you get your new passport, go to the embassy w/new passport, affidavit of loss and a letter requesting re-issue of visa.

Seriously, I hope you find where you put the passport for safe keeping. I put things away so good a times that I can't figure out where that place is later...

And yes I did that with my passport once, had a new one issued then many months later found the old one in its safe keeping place....

Do you know if I have to pay the visa fee again? I'm really very upset because I was supposed to leave for the US soon. I was hoping to join my fiance on Christmas.

yes the steps are al they have expplained. get a polce report after a sworn affidavit is made...but seriously I hope they are NOT suspiious of fraud. better be ready for some grilling on how it got lost.
