I've read where lots of people just printed them (in color) on regular printer paper, not glossy photo paper. I would recommend that way - much easier to handle in the file. We did the stapled-plastic bag thing, and that made our application look messy.

You can upload your photograph online to most of the standard photo printing services I've seen; that way they will be ready when you go pick them up. You can do the same thing if you decide to print in color - create a Word document and upload it to Staples, OfficeMax, OfficeDepot... possibly FedExOffice

Good luck!

Hi there! I'm new here and my fiance and I are trying to get everything together for the I-129F package. I had a question about sending proof of an ongoing relationship. We have pictures to send except they're all just on my computer. I don't have a fancy picture printer or anything like that. I just have a normal black and white printer. Will that be okay? If not, where can I go to get them printed?

walgreens and walmart print them out so cheap $25c or something.

This is my thinking also. All of your papers are going to end up in a file with a two hole clip thing on top. Printing photos on regular printer paper allows for easier incorporation and viewing with the rest of your papers. In most cases you send the copy of the requested item and bring the original to the interview. I use the same rationale for photos.

Obviously sending actual photos isn't going to cause you to be denied nor will sending pictures on printer paper but I always envision overworked 'Office Space' type employees looking at petitions day in and day out and I try to figure out what is going to be the least irritating to them.

I am a huge fan of www.snapfish.com. You can upload your pictures and print them for $0.09 each. They mail them to the address of your choice and keep an album of the pictures you print.

I'd have them printed at a local Walgreens or Walmart;;;;it's cheap and in color they will come across more professionally.

hi,

Sorry but it never seen anybody submit a pictures which is black and white as it hard to distinguised if how long that pics taken

There aren't any specifications to meet for photographs when they are being used as proof of an ongoing relationship. Therefore, if the couple are clearly distinguishable in the pictures, there isn't any reason why a black and white print wouldn't be adequate.

Hey fellow Minnesotan. Aren't you two adorable!

My opinion on this is that it won't really matter. I printed out some of our pictures on regular computer paper (no date on actual pics) about 9 to a page and wrote a brief caption of who when and where. I had a color printer but I think for AOS I might have done b&w. I brought the actual pictures to the k1 interview.

did you have an interview as I've just received work Auth today and have been told G/Card sent to differant office from Lees Summit MO hoping I get a reply soon also Work Auth 1 year do you have to send for another 1 or do they send it to you anyway I'm married to Minnesotian also

No interview for AOS or ROC. We actually got the greencard quite quickly and it arrived before the EAD. If your case was transfered to California service center most likey that means you will not have an interview. If it was transfrered to your local office in MN then you probably will have an interview. I believe you can renew the EAD if you have not gotten your greencard by the time it expires but since you just got it I wouldn't worry about that. Chances are you will have your GC before it expires. The GC becomes your work authorization once you receive it. Hope that answered your question.
