If time is your issue, then don't bother trying to get an interview in Montreal. They have a months long backlog. You'll be several months ahead, just doing it through GUZ. OPTIN for electronic processing NOW, if you haven't already.

you have a major issue at hand and I think it is best you STOP wondering HOW LONG it will take until you rsolve the this most challenging issue for you guys right now. get on the phone as suggested above and talk to a human, then keep calling (930pm-1100pm EST) seems to be more relaxing for them. get going and all the best. but if TIME is a major issue then FLY TO CHINA and good luck in your interview

Ya, they DO THIS when they are trying to REHOME a casefile to a different IV Unit -

Why not just do EP, have the interview in Guangzhou IV? You prolly need a vacation over CNY anyway - if you stick with GUZ IV, keep the GUZ #, do EP with a new GZO #, I think you'll interview in GUZ prior to CNY week.

But, that's not what yer asking. In fact, there's not any question on this one.

Reminder - AFTER CR-1 visa awarded, have 6 months to transit into the USA - so you could finish up yer schooling in Canada (if you have Spring Term) then move down with yer husband.

i want to finish my interview asap

but my husband wants me to get interview in canada cuz he stays with me in canada now, and he doesnt want us to fly to china, cuz it will cost us a lot of money

and besides. now nvc is processing my case. so i dont want to bother them again.....

i have asked an operator this morning. he told me that i will get a new case number. stats with MTL/.

but he also told me that he didnt konw the exactly date when i can get it

besides. all my parents also want me to be interviewed in canada .

if my visa is issued. i will come back to usa with my husband. and reapply a university to finish my master degree.

about my study. i have a little bit long story to say..

i had the relationship with my husband almost 7 years ago. thats say, from 2004.

he immigrated to usa in 2006.

in order to stay with him, and i dont want to get separated any more. so i decided to study in usa.

Last year, July 2010. i graduated from a university in china and earned my bachelor degree there. i wanted to study my master degree in usa. so i applied four schools. and 3 of them accepted me.. everything seemed goes well. but it is not.. i failed to get a f1 student visa from guangzhou consulate, even though i tried three times.

at that time. i had no idea but coming to canada cuz i was so eager to live with my husband!!!!!

so i applied canada student visa in august 2010 and finally i succeeded..

after i came to canada, my husband flied here to visit me every two month.

and after he became usa citizen, he decided to move to canada to live with me till i get the visa to usa.

so i dont care if i cant finish my another bachelor degree in canada( cuz it will take me 2 years to finish it).

if i can go to usa much ealier, i can reapply my master asap///

You and your husband simply need to decide what's more important. If you want the visa sooner, get it in Guangzhou. It will take several months longer to obtain it in Montreal. Is the time or money more important? You decide.

HE tole me that my case is in process, but he didnt know the time frame neither..wt i can do is keeping in touch with them.

i was so regret about my decision, but i dont want to bother nvc.

someone told me that even though nvc approve to reassign my case to montreal, montreal embassy may reject my case

is it true?
