made a mistake in an email to nvc

today i sent an email to nvc.

the content is

Dear officer:

now I get the GUZ number by tellphone NVC. Could you send me the GUZ and ds-3032 by Email?

By the way, now I am stay in Canada as a international student. And how can apply to get the interview in Canada?

Thank you so much. I am looking forward to hearing from you.

but actually i made a mistake, cuz it is my wife that stays in canada as an international student, not me...so how to fix that mistake...i am really nervous about #######.

First off : On the subject have your NVC Case number GUZXXXXXX - Corrections

The DS3032 form is found online. You don't have to ask them if you can submit it online. It should be available to you once you pay that AOS fee I believe. Once you send it online, again put your case number on the subject line, you can check with NVC in two business days just to confirm that they got the email.

Since every thing is online you really don't have to mention about you/your wife staying in Canada. As far as interview goes - you will have to speak to a live person on that matter. Hope this helps!

Call the NVC and speak to an operator, if the operator can't do anything, speak to a supervisor. Explain the situation and that you need to have the file redirected to Montreal. Others can give you a definitive answer, but once you successfully have the file redirected, the case number should change so it begins with MTL.

I wouldn't do anything until you have confirmation the NVC has redirected the file to Montreal.

3. Ask for a Supervisor

and then

Tell NVC Supervisor the casefile was incorrectly tagged to go to GUZ IV - instead; you need it to go to MTL IV - please rehome the casefile to MTL IV.

Since I want my wife to be interviewed in Montreal, Canada, I have attached the proof of eligibility ( my wife's valid Canada student visa, study permit, Chinese passport and the approval notice) in the attachment. Please look for and download it.

Besides, could you tell me how long it will take for NVC to reassign my case to Montreal, Canada after NVC makes the decision that my wife is qualified to have an interview in Canada.

call into NVC and tell them to review your email, twice a day, until they can find it.

Once they find it, they will add it to the casefile.

Once it's added, a decision will be made on re-homing the IV unit from Guangzhou to Montreal

and then

you'll get a new case # issued, starting with MTL.

Use The TelePhone, oh, lets say tonight circa 10 PM EST.

then again twice a day , following the pattern above.

i just wonder it will also take me one month to get the new case number if my case is reassigned?
